Once all your questions
have been answered and you are ready to begin, here are the
steps that we take to convert your data.
We wait for an online order form or a faxed order form with all your ACT database and payment information.
We then wait for your ACT database files to be sent to us via the instructions on our website sent via email or ftp.
We will confirm that we can open your database so that we can begin this process. This takes us a couple days.
If we cannot open the ACT database you provide, we may provide alternate solutions to give us the ACT database
Once we can successfully open the ACT database you provide, we begin the conversion
We create a sample of your database which is usually around 50 records of converted data so you can get an idea of what the fully converted data will look like. This usually takes three or four days for a standard conversion and may take a couple weeks if it is a new data type we are converting to
If you need changes to made to the sample, we either make the change or let you know that we cannot make those changes.
Once we make changes to the sample data, you decide whether you want us to do the full conversion and let us know.
Assuming you want us to do the full conversion, we proceed and give you the final full database in the format you wanted.
Upon receipt of the database, we then process your payment
You then enjoy your new contatct management software and sell your old version of ACT on Ebay
